History of The Future

What you do today,
Reflects what you do tomorrow, 
The price you may have to pay,
For bad decisions can bring you sorrow.
What if we become the history of future later?
We may never even get to know,
And people may reap the fruits of our labour,
And say this person lived ages ago!
I don’t think Gandhi ji would have thought,
His name would be on Indian notes, 
To us so much he has taught, 
In the election he would still gain all the votes!
Imagine our name being on history books,
Imagine how they would look!
Our great great grandchildren may just be studying about us, 
And in classes will say they are my relatives and discuss.
So the history of your future,
Rests on your shoulders!
