What's up my fellow viewers! It's Sehar....

And today I will tell you guys about National Hoagie Day!

We celebrate this day in Philadelphia on May 5th!

 These monster sandwiches, filled with a variety of meats, cheeses, vegetables, seasonings and sauces, come on a long Italian roll or French bread. Italian workers, who lived in a section of Philadelphia known as Hog Island, introduced the sandwich in 1953. So basically on this day you eat a Hoagie!
{Petty random right?} Ed Rendell created National Hoagie Day. In 1992 former Philadelphia Mayor {and later Pennsylvania governor} Ed Rendell declared Hoagie, the national sandwich of Philadelphia! That's how Hoagie Day was created!
