The feeling of getting lost in a book...(POEM)

Heyy guys! Today I am going to share a poem I wrote. Hope you enjoy it...I am now going to be writing poems on my blog pretty often so stay tuned!

The feeling of getting lost in a book

When you open the book and turn the pages,

children and adults of all ages,

curl up by the fire with a good book,

it just gets you off the hook!

the feeling of getting lost,

just leaves you so engrossed,                                      

you can't even look away for a moment,

or you'll miss the defeat of the opponent 

with a cup of hot chocolate on your side,

into the magical world you'll glide,

it's like the book has swallowed you up,

and if it's about a dog..you meet a pup!

you see things that you've never seen,

after the book, about it you'll dream!
