The river looked like a snake.. (Poem)

Hey guys! I'm so sorry I haven't posted in a long time!! Here's a short poem I wrote! Hope you enjoy:)

The river looked like a snake..

 I found a river close to the forest and around the block, 

When I saw this river I was in shock. 

It was shaped like an animal that slithers around, 

The water in it had a melodious sound, 

The river looked like a snake, 

At first I thought it was fake! 

How could a river be so precise? 

But I have got to admit that it was quite nice, 

No one was there, not even a single soul, 

So I think I discovered it, and it was under my control.
