Deafening Silence

When the bomb had dropped 

The noise was so loud 

That everyone had just stopped 

Even the performers, even the crowd Everyone was in shock, 

Everyone was in fear, 

You couldn’t hear the pin drop
Even if it was very very near 

Silence is supposed to be peaceful 

Silence is supposed to be still 

Silence to me is wonderful 

But I know everyone’s minds were certainly not still 

This was deafening silence

 It was certainly not peaceful 

It was pretty unbalanced 

The bomb dropper must have felt remorseful.
